Are you tired of massaging tight areas on your clients with minimal results? Discover the transformative benefits of incorporating passive movement into your treatment work. In this workshop, learn how to let the client's body do the hard work while you act as the anchor, achieving profound results without trying so hard.
Thai massage, traditionally performed on a mat on the floor, is adapted in this class for the massage table. Using compression, stretching, pin-and-stretch, movement, and rocking, you'll learn to move the client into assisted yoga postures, all while they remain fully clothed.
Aquatic Bodywork is a blend of Massage and Thai yoga massage in the water. It combines movements, stretching and stillness to increase mobility and flexibility.
Clients are gently floated in a 4+ person hot tub (around 92 degrees), supported by floatation devices, while the therapist uses gentle swaying, rocking, stretching and rotation, allowing the client's body to unwind and completely relax. This type of treatment is also very low impact on the therapist.
